Artist Bio:

Nuda Studio is the artistic project of a Spanish artist currently based in North Carolina. Through textures, reliefs, and earthy tones, her work explores human fragility, calmness, and the beauty of imperfection. Each piece is handcrafted using materials such as plaster, concrete, and natural pigments, transforming raw matter into emotion and presence.

Artist Statement:

My work explores the relationship between material, silence, and emotion. Through sculptural textures, organic reliefs, and a palette of neutral and earthy tones, I seek to create pieces that convey calmness, presence, and sensitivity. I work primarily with plaster, concrete, and natural pigments — materials that allow me to build imperfect and deeply human surfaces. Inspired by the wabi-sabi aesthetic and the beauty of the unfinished, each work emerges from an intuitive process where texture becomes language.

The figures and forms appearing in my pieces are often minimalist and partially abstract, leaving space for emotional interpretation. I am interested in creating works that are not only seen, but also felt — pieces that invite the viewer to pause, observe, and reconnect with what is essential.

Nuda Studio represents the balance between delicacy and strength, between the organic and the industrial, between emptiness and presence.
