Artist Bio:
Amanda Farley is an artist working in Charlotte, NC and a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. There, in 2020, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Production Design with a minor in Painting.
After a year spent working as a makeup artist for live entertainment following graduation, she started to work in custom framing as well as pursuing her passion for painting.
Farley sells her original work in different venues around Charlotte as well as taking on commissions. She often finds herself inspired by bold colors and the balance between contrasting hues.
Artist Statement:
Her recent series demonstrates ordinary subjects in a bold and unrealistic color palate, bringing a new perspective to each subject.
