Artist Bio- 

Elena Sayers is a Charlotte-based artist who has been creating works of abstract and surrealism painting for the past decade. Her “emotion-based” work is heavily inspired by music and literature, while her more realistic paintings offer a uniquely colorful perspective on city skylines and nature scenes. As a local artist, Elena enjoys contributing to the vibrant and thriving artistic community in Charlotte.

Artist Statement –

How do I decide what to paint? It’s simple: I don’t. I rarely ever have a plan in place before I start painting {this also happens to be my general philosophy for living life}. I start with one color and let my artistic intuition take over to create something entirely original each time.
