Artist Statement:

Under the Sun Under the Sea series is all about fascination with nature and how perfect it can be. The colors in harmony the shapes balanced. Summer season has been celebrated by all. A carefree time of rejuvenation and uplifting.
My inspiration comes from natural organic forms on land and sea. I convey through my paints, thick gestural brush strokes and textures with palate knives the feeling of experiencing glorious nature whether it is rainforests or sunsets or coral reefs under the sea. The organic forms in nature also influence abstract shapes in my paintings. I like the use of bold colors and a bright palette. My favorite medium is acrylics and sometimes combining them pastels and fluid acrylics and other mixed media. I like to paint in semi abstract expressionistic style.
