Artist Statement:
Working with texture, color, and bold abstraction, I usually create from intuition—letting the process itself guide me. For me, art is a way of exploring identity, transformation, and belonging.
My art explores the tension between structure and freedom, shifting between defined geometric or organic forms and expressive, flowing gestures.
This duality stems from influence in my childhood to “color inside the lines” and aim for perfection; this echos through my geometric works, while the more fluid abstractions reflect my adult pursuit of freedom, imperfection, and self-discovery. In every piece, I experience this ongoing dialogue between order and release & I invite viewers to find pieces of their own story within my work and reflect on their own balance between control and letting go.
Guided by intuition and a love of experimentation, my layered compositions become a visual language of exploration not only of my own journey, but of the universal human search for identity and meaning.
